Care Instructions - Sublimation

T-Shirts

Sublimation t-shirts should be washed in cold water with mild detergent to avoid fading or bleeding of the colors. It is also advised to turn the t-shirt inside out before washing to protect the print during the wash cycle. Additionally, avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals that can damage the fabric and print.

To prevent color transfer and maintain the vibrancy of the print, it is recommended to wash full sublimation t-shirts separately or with similar colors. This will prevent any dye from other garments from seeping into the fabric and affecting the print quality.

If washing with other clothes, ensure they are similar in color and do not contain any potential color bleeders. Washing with towels or other fabrics with rough textures can also cause friction, leading to premature wear and tear of the print.

High temperatures can be detrimental to the vibrant colors and quality of the print on full sublimation t-shirts. It is recommended to avoid hot water wash cycles and high-temperature drying settings as they can cause the colors to fade or lose their vibrancy.

Instead, opt for cold or lukewarm water whenever possible. Air drying is also recommended to maintain the integrity of the print. If using a dryer, select a low heat setting or a gentle cycle to minimize potential damage to the fabric and print.

Full sublimation prints don’t require ironing, as the heat can potentially damage or melt the design. If necessary, iron the t-shirt by turning it inside out and using a low heat setting on the reverse side.

Place a thin cloth or a pressing sheet between the iron and the print to provide an extra layer of protection. However, it’s best to avoid ironing altogether if possible to prevent any unintended damage to the vibrant colors and intricate details of the print.

Tumblers

To ensure the longevity of the tumbler and the designs on it, it is best to hand wash your tumbler in a mild dish soap and warm water. To prevent water from getting in between the design and the tumbler, do not soak your tumbler in water. When washing, avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes that can scratch or damage the designs. After cleaning the tumbler, make sure to dry it immediately with a clean towel.

Tumblers are not considered dishwasher safe as the high heat and soaking properties can fade the designs.
